Christopher T. Reynolds, DMD
Meet Dr. Reynolds
Dr. Reynolds grew up in Waterloo, New York, a small town between Rochester and Syracuse. He attended The State University of New York at Binghamton for a year before he decided to transfer to The University of Georgia in Athens where he completed a BS Biology. While there he met his wife Lisa. They were married shortly after graduation. Dr. Reynolds then enrolled at The University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he truly developed the passion and love for dentistry. Durning his first year of dental school Dr. Reynolds joined the United State Army as a Health Professions Scholarship Program recipient. Dr. Reynolds two sons, Kelon and Jase, were born while in Louisville. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2008.
Dr. Reynolds enjoys all the disciplines of dentistry and chose to enter a 12 Month Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Fort Benning, GA so that he could receive one on one training with multiple specialists. At the end of his residency training he welcomed his youngest child and only daughter, Ayla. After Dr. Reynolds completed the training that taught him to be a “stand-alone” dentist, the Army needed his services at Fort Campbell, KY. Dr. Reynolds became the brigade dentist for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division. While assigned to this combat unit he deployed to Southern Afghanistan for 11 months where he set-up a hard stand clinic and engineered a mobile dentistry concept that was utilized for forward dental readiness missions. After completing his commitment with the Army he was excited to start a practice here in the low-country and become a community dentist.
Dr. Reynolds’ parents, Thomas and Earlene Reynolds, live in Sun City. After visiting and learning how great the area is, he decided this would be the best place to finally settle down with his family and build his dream. His in-laws, Jerry and Kathie Monk, were persuaded to move closer and are now residents of Sun City as well. He has 2 dogs, Tate (shih-tsu) and Baxter (shorkie), that are abnormally large for their breed. Dr. Reynolds spends most of his time with his family. He enjoys working out, going to the beach, golfing when time permits, and eating local seafood. He also loves watching Syracuse basketball and Georgia football.
